Ms. Dubé specializes in river and hillslope geomorphology and erosion/sediment transport studies to evaluate the effects of management actions on aquatic habitat and substrate. She developed the erosion calculations for SEDMODL, a GIS program to evaluate road surface erosion, and has assessed sediment inputs and budgets for watershed analyses throughout the Pacific Northwest. Her expertise in fluvial geomorphology and sediment transport in gravel-bedded rivers has been utilized to determine the effects of dams and water diversions on sediment movement and aquatic habitat in seven major northwest rivers.
